The blog was set up in late 2005 shortly before moving to Australia.
I hope you don’t mind that many of the older posts before November 2006 were published in German.
However every entry that having been posted since then is in English.
In December 2007 the blog was subject to major changes. And as a matter of fact – leaving Australia for good – it couldn’t continue with its old name ‘ozPress‘. Along came a new name, a new URL, a new favicon and a few other changes.
In March 2010 I introduced password protection to the blog. In order to view any post users have to be registered. However, registration is free. This functionality has been put in to keep search engines and random visitors out.
March 2011 brought further changes. The look and feel of HONKPRESS underwent major changes. The wordpress template that drives the site was replaced which resulted in a change of the blog’s structure. This better accommodates the site’s primary focus: photo and text. Plus I adjusted the colour scheme.
